Activation of New/Auto-Spotlight bookings for PropertyGuru.com.sg will cease from 21 Mar 22, 15:00hrs SGT to ensure that all Spotlight bookings will continue to enjoy Spotlight features for its full booking duration before Spotlight is discontinued on 30 Mar 22.
When can I last activate a New/Auto-Spotlight booking for PropertyGuru.com.sg?
You can activate Spotlight up till 21 Mar 2022, 15:00hrs SGT. Thereafter, you will not be allowed to activate new/auto-Spotlight bookings.
Will Spotlight be discontinued on CommercialGuru.com.sg?
Spotlight will continue to serve our agents on CommercialGuru.com.sg.
Why is PropertyGuru discontinuing Spotlight?
We have heard your feedback on the importance of marketing efficiency as well as the value of listing exposure and we are continuously working towards making your listings work effectively for you.
We hope to focus on refining and building new products that will bring greater value to you. In the recent months, we have introduced enhanced products such as Turbo and Featured Agent, which includes the benefits of Spotlight while increasing your listing exposure at the same time.
Why is PropertyGuru discontinuing Spotlight only on PropertyGuru.com.sg and not on CommercialGuru.com.sg?
Turbo was introduced in Aug 2021 for PropertyGuru.com.sg, with agents having a longer time to try it out and have benefitted from its advantages on their residential listings.
Turbo was only recently introduced for CommercialGuru.com.sg in Jan 2022, and we hope to keep a varied selection of listing types from Turbo to Spotlight, so that agents will be able to seek and evaluate what works best for their commercial listings.
Can I still activate Spotlight after 21 Mar 2022, 15:00hrs SGT?
No. You will not be allowed to activate any Spotlight bookings. The Spotlight button will be disabled for all listings that do not have an active Spotlight booking.
For listings with an active Spotlight booking, your tab will remain active in blue till the booking completion date. However, upon clicking through, the Switch to Auto-Spotlight button will be disabled.
What will happen to my Auto-Spotlight; will it renew itself after 21 Mar 2022, 15:00hrs SGT?
No. Auto-Spotlight will cease from 21 Mar 2022, 15:00hrs SGT. Your Auto-Spotlight will not renew itself. Rest assured that Ad Credits will not be deducted as well.
What will happen to my existing Spotlight listings on 21 Mar 2022, 15:00hrs?
All Spotlight listings will continue to enjoy Spotlight features up till the organic completion of their existing booking cycle.
For Auto-Spotlight listings, the last auto-renewal of 7 days will happen on or before 21 Mar 2022, 15:00hrs SGT, depending on their renewal cycle.
Cycle 1: Agent A turns on Auto-Spotlight starting from 07 Mar, which renews every 7 days.
Cycle 2: Auto-Spotlight is being renewed for 7 days starting on 14 Mar.
Cycle 3: Auto-Spotlight is being renewed for 7 days starting on 21 Mar as this renewal cycle is happening on or before 21 Mar. The listing will continue to enjoy Spotlight features till the organic completion date of 27 Mar. Thereafter, Auto-Spotlight will cease automatically and no longer be renewed.
Cycle 1: Agent B turns on Auto-Spotlight starting from 03 Mar, which renews every 7 days.
Cycle 2: Auto-Spotlight is being renewed for 7 days starting on 10 Mar.
Cycle 3: Auto-Spotlight is being renewed for 7 days starting on 17 Mar as this renewal cycle is happening before 21 Mar. The listing will continue to enjoy Spotlight features till the organic completion date of 23 Mar. Thereafter, Auto-Spotlight will cease automatically and no longer be renewed as it falls after 21 Mar.
