Property viewing is one step closer to a transaction. As a professional agent, you should ideally be more than prepared to present knowledge, insights, delivering the best service.

What should I do before the viewing?

1. Be well versed with the property

An in depth research of the property should be done before the viewing so that you are able to confidently showcase your listing. 

You can avail yourself to data and content provided by PropertyGuru, where you can find the area/district plans, nearby amenities, pricing trends, etc. 

For condo listings, you can find these information in condo details page.

Print your listing so that you can pass them to prospects during the viewing for them to take notes and refer to it later.

3. Be mentally and physically prepared

Please ensure that you have a good rest the day before so that you can present in your best form.

What to do during viewing?

1. Property presentation

Share about the property's Unique Selling Points, the area/district plans, nearby amenities, pricing trends, landlord/previous owner, etc.

2. Know your prospect

Find out more about them by doing simple profiling, to find out more about what their preferences and dislikes are 

3. Understand prospect's financial capability 

When it comes to home buying, finances are the influencing factor before property seekers decide if they would like to proceed.

4. Provide leave behind materials to prospects

It would be good for property seekers to take photos of the property for reference as this will ease their decision making. Don't forget to follow up closely with the prospect in case they have any questions after the viewing!
